Intergalactic Pizza Delivery // from The Road to Pixar
A really cool group of folks I met on my Road Trip last summer are having one of their own! They’ve recreated the Pizza Planet delivery truck, straight out of the Pixar movies, and are currently driving it from LA up to Emeryville to visit the Pixar Studios. If you’re in the Bay Area and want to see the truck, here’s their itinerary. For up to the minute reports you can follow them on twitter - @pizzaplanetruck. Unfortunately Boba Fett won’t be joining them, but he seemed more than happy to pose for a few pictures the other night.

Yesterday I went on a run with Samii in Golden Gate Park and we ran past a truck that looked a lot like the Pizza Planet truck in Toy Story. Then I looked closer. And it was the Pizza Planet truck from Toy Story. There was the “YO” in the back, the rockets, and there were aliens dangling from the rear view mirror. It was the best thing that has ever happened to me. :)
*Apologies for the enthusiastic facial expressions and the sweat. I ran five miles! :)
